The Scagliola Process:
The beauty of scagliola is in the combining of basic materials to form something supremely refined.
There are just three ingredients, each inexpensive and readily available.
Plaster of paris is the main substance, mixed with diluted sizing, and colored with mineral pigments..
Finished Scagliola Panels can also be Inlaid with more scagliola.
